VINTAGE & CLASSIC CARS
After forty years have passed since a car was first built in the UK the owner can apply for Historic Vehicle status, which exempts the car from the annual MOT test and from Road Tax. A veteran vehicle is anything made before World War 1, a vintage is anything made before 1930 and post vintage is anything made between 1930 and 1945.
